Allina, Nyte, myself and Allicio (AKA Aramas) lines up after our first battle with Medusa in Stygian Abyss.

It has been about 2 months since Nyte and I started out in the Ultima Online:Stygian Abyss closed beta, and the depths of the Abyss has now been opened for the public since two weeks. The vikings are still arriving to Tel Mur, and last night 4 of us went to try on Medusa, one of the new Peerless bosses in what is by far the largest dungeon in Sosaria.


Helaios and myself joining big battle with Slasher of the Veils.

Me and Helaios ended up in a possible first big fight with Slasher of the Veils the day after the Abyss had opened. Slasher is one of the "open" bosses in the Abyss. Another one is the giant spider Navrey Nighteyes, although it is classed a Peerless even if anyone can jump into battling and no keys are required to enter the lair.

Ultima Online:The Stygian Abyss is some of the most Ultima as one get to see in an UO expansion, if one would ask me. It is my personal opinion as an Ultima veteran and member of the Ultima Dragons when I say that this may be the best expansion released yet. The land area may not be the largest, but the content is still amazes and draws at least me and the others that are traveling with the vikings in Sosaria. Expect many more reports from our travels in the Underworld and the Abyss.
