For the alliance! - sort of a cliché but in this case that's all there is to it. As I returned to the Vikings headquarters at the northern shores of Britannia at past midnight, I myself had been in battle for 13 hours and it was still going on at Blighted Grove. That was where it all started at 11 AM the same morning as I met up with Trixie, Omar and Aze of Chaos of Deception for a morning battle at Melisande.
Right afterwards I was invited to join to Prism of Light to collect keys for an afternoon battle at the Peerless boss there. And from there it kept on. People in both guilds joined up as they came about. The plan of gathering for a alliance hunt at 7 PM to go to Prism of Light was changed all over at 4 PM as Nyte was called upon to an EM Event in her duty as reporter for UO Stratics. At that time, we were in middle of battle in Prism of Light as we had gathered three sets of keys. We took a break at 5 as Aragorn and some others went to gather keys for a Travesty hunt we were going to have simultaniosly with the EM Event at 7:30 PM.
I myself went as planned to the EM Event, and I am not sure what to comment on the event, really. It turned out that Nathan Hawke, Seeker of Truth wasn't attuned to Stygian Abyss. Nathan Hawke, Chief of the Royal Guard of Britannia, didn't have access to Stygian Abyss. ... No comment. I did actually bail on the EM Event shortly after the event party had entered the Abyss just to get the notice to head back out again. I surely did head back out and straight to The Citadel instead where our Alliance was now gathering for battle with Travesty. We got to go at the Peerless boss at the Citadel 3 times, whereof two at the same time as Blade of VoM had started to gather keys in Prism of Light. We got to go and fight Shimmering Effusion once before gathering for a last trip to Blighted Grove and Melisande.. and the circle was finished. What a day, what a battle, what a crew!
Rock the Nation!
