 Richard Garriott actually leaving NCSoft to "pursue other interests" doesn't come as a surprise along with the news about his MMO Tabula Rasa shutting down in February 2009. After recently fulfilling his life long dream of going to space, who would blaim him? Still, the MMO didn't make it, regardless of what great game industry icon was behind it. Tabula Rasa now faces the same fate as Hellgate: London with approximately two months left of lifetime. Sad but true. |

This is a busy guild these days, alright. While Fist, Luth and the others were heading on into Northrend last night, Nyte and myself entered Eregion on our own venture towards the Mines of Moria in Lord of the Rings Online. It must have been the rainiest entrance to a new game expansion we have ever expected. Eventually we ended up standing outside the famous Hollin Gate - the entrance to Khazad-Dum.

I take it it is a known fact by now that yours truly have this thing for dragons. Luthlexor of VoM has been our guide in WoW: Wrath of the Lich King as he has provided about a ton of screens from his travels there. It was a pleasure to see some fresh dragon pics in the latest bunch that arrived in my postbox yesterday.

After 8 years of development, Darkfall Online has got a releasedate January 22:nd 2009. Vaporware or not, now the moment of truth is coming. There was an extensive interview at MMORPG.com a day before the announcement was made by Audio Visuals SA. Darkfall is rumoured to be the "Ultima Online 2" that was never released and situated in a "pre-reinassance" scenario with open PvP all over.
